We focus on the sizes that make luxury shopping frustrating. We keep a retailer's own size label and size system visible where available, instead of treating every label as the same fit.
Evidence has a date
A reported stock observation is not a promise that a piece is still available. We distinguish a dated product find from live retailer inventory and ask you to confirm the variant at the source.
More than one way to find it
One search can begin with someone's closet, lead to a retailer or become a personal sourcing request. Each path has its own seller, checkout and policies.
A real person behind the request
A sourcing request is reviewed individually. You can describe the exact piece and fit information you need before receiving options or a quote.

The person behind ALTŌRVM
Laramie, founder
At 6'7", Laramie knows the routine of visiting one store after another to find a piece he loves in a size that works. He also had a closet full of clothes he was no longer wearing, including pieces that still had their tags.
ALTŌRVM grew from those two problems: make it easier to find the right piece, and make it easier for a good piece to find its next owner.
How ALTŌRVM works
In the archive, review the actual item listing and its terms before checking out on ALTŌRVM. Closet purchases follow our final-sale policy.
In retailer discovery, use our records as a starting point, then confirm price, size, availability, shipping and returns with the retailer. You complete that purchase on the retailer's site.
For a sourcing request, send a reference, size and budget. Submitting a request does not reserve an item or authorize a purchase or charge; we review options and terms with you first.

Does ALTŌRVM stock everything shown in the retailer directory?
No. Retailer destinations and product finds are separate from private-closet inventory. A directory entry does not mean we have a live feed, a partnership or an item in stock.
Does a size label guarantee a fit?
No. Labels and cuts vary by brand and garment. Compare the retailer's size guide or the closet listing's measurements with a piece you already own.
Where do I pay?
Private-closet purchases take place on ALTŌRVM. Retailer purchases take place on the retailer's own site, under that retailer's payment, shipping and return terms.
Does a sourcing request commit me to buy?
No. Sending the form is an information request. You review the options and any quote before deciding whether to proceed.
Can I return a private-closet purchase?
Private-closet purchases follow ALTŌRVM's final-sale policy. Read the listing and policy before buying; retailer purchases follow the retailer's terms.
